Well, I am back in the States. It has been a tumultuous and emotional ride. I have a great apartment, and I got a job right away (as a waitress in a hotel restaurant who plays nothing but elevator music...FML). The stress of coming back and dealing with everything has subsided for the most part, but I really miss France and my friends (Kat and Cait especially, this is painful without you guys).
I have been working for Manda on the side, whitewashing fences Tom Sawyer-style. It is good money, tax-free and everything. Plus it is outside, which is a nice change.
I don't know if I will keep up the blog or not now that I am back in the States, but just know that my ultimate goal is to go back to France. So basically I will be working my butt off constantly.
